2 September 2011 - Membership Subscriptions and Plot Rents
Membership subscriptions and plot rents are due on 1 October 2011. We will be shortly sending out the new tenancy agreements. If there are any changes to your membership or lease please let us know as soon as possible. Many thanks.

14 August 2011 - Allotment Show Winners
Well done to everyone that won a prize at our first Allotment Show. Designed as a bit of fun and to celebrate National Allotments Week.
Thanks to everyone that entered and took part and we hope that you enjoyed the afternoon and BBQ.

Summer Allotment Show & BBQ - Sunday 14 August 2011
UPDATE: The weather looks fine so look forward to seeing you on Sunday afternoon.
To celebrate National Allotment Week we are holding an allotment show and BBQ, weather permitting, at the Allotment Field on Sunday 14 August 2011 - from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. This event is open to members and their immediate family only.
Entries, and prizes awarded for the following:

In addition there will be a prize for the best allotment.
You may enter as many classes as you wish - entry is free. You may also have multiple entries in one class.
All entries must be made between 1pm and 2pm and judging will take place during the afternoon by Harold Hampton. Prize giving will be 4.00pm to 4.30pm.
We will run a BBQ and serve cold refreshments and look forward to seeing you there.
A decision will be made on the weather forecast by 5pm on Saturday 13 August and if the event has to be cancelled we will post a message here by 5.30pm.
Beetle Drive - 14 May 2011 - POSTPONED

13 April 2011 - Annual General Meeting
We held our first Annual General Meeting this evening in Wadebridge Social Club. It was an enjoyable evening with reports from the Chair, Membership Secretary, Treasurer and Site Steward.
The formal part of the evening was then followed by an interested talk by Harold Hampton. Topics covered included Composting, Companion Planting and Top Tips.
We would like to thank everyone that attended. A copy of the minutes and the finance report will be available on our website within the next few days.

26 March 2011 - Coffee Morning a success
Many thanks to everyone that supported our coffee morning today, we make a profit of £227.78 to help boost society funds. Thanks to everyone.
7 March 2011 - Gardeners World Returns
Monty Don returns this week (Friday 11 March) at 20.30 on BBC 2 in his own garden for the new series of Gardeners World.
4 March 2011 - TV Gardening Back to Basics
A new TV channel inspired by the late Geoff Hamilton launches this week.
The new channel which starts broadcasting via Sky, Freesat and the Internet on 6 March will offer programmes such as Tales From the Hen House, Frugal Foods, Claire's Allotment and Diary of an Allotment Gardener.
How to Watch: The Horticultural Channel will broadcast on the following services, starting at 9am on Sunday 6 March:
